Kathmandu: After being disrupted this morning due to a landslide at bridge number three in Ichhakamana-5, the Narayangarh-Muglin road section has now resumed two-way traffic. The Area Police Office in Muglin reported that the debris from the landslide has been cleared, allowing normal vehicular movement.

Unfortunately, during the morning landslide, the driver of a truck with license plate number Na 6 Kha 710 was injured. The injured driver is currently receiving treatment at the Muglin Highway Hospital, according to the police.

This is not the first time that landslides have caused frequent obstructions along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. Previously, the road had been closed on Saturday night and reopened for vehicular operation on Sunday evening after a duration of 18 hours.

The authorities have been facing recurring challenges in maintaining a smooth flow of traffic in this area due to the frequent landslides.
